Dry Wolf Campground
Dry Wolf Campground is located along Dry Wolf Creek among meadows, spruce and fir trees at an elevation of 5900 feet. There are 25 campsites in this is scenic and tranquil campground. It was a Kiwanis Club project in 1930, and in 1937 it was improved by the WPA. The campground reflects all these influences plus improvements made by the Forest Service during the 1960s. The Bandbox Mountain surrounds the campground where marine fossils can be found. Fee charge of $5 per day per site. Limit of 10 people per site. Group camping is available by calling the District office for reservations.
Directions: From Stanford, take US Highway 87 north 1.2 miles to Forest Access sign. Turn left at sign and go 4.3 miles to Y intersection. Bear right at intersection and go 15.7 miles to campground sign. Turn right into campground. All but the first mile is gravel and dirt and last 8 miles is single-lane.

Hay Canyon Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest. There are 9 campsites near scenic hiking trails and fishing access. Restrooms are provided. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 30 feet. Please limit your stay to 16 days.
Directions: At Hobson, on US Highway 87, turn into town and follow Montana Highway 239 to Utica. At Utica, turn left onto county road (gravel). Travel 17 miles south west to campground. Indian Hill Campground
Indian Hill Campground is located in Lewis and Clark National Forest. There are 7 campsites near scenic hiking trails. Drinking water and restrooms are provided. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 20 feet. Please limit your stay to 16 days.

Judith Station Campground
Historic Judith Guard Station is south of Stanford in the Little Belt Mountains. From the south edge of Stanford, take Highway 87/200 east 7 miles to the junction of Montana Highway 239 (Windham). Turn right onto Highway 239 and continue south and east 11 miles to Utica. Turn right and continue on this road about 14 miles to the Y junction beyond the Circle Bar Guest Ranch. Keep right, onto Forest Road 825, and stay on this road about 1.5 miles, following the signs to the Judith Station. This cabin can be accessed almost year round.
