Deer, Elk, Antelope Hunting Regulations


Montana's deer, elk, and antelope seasons start at varying stages. Antelope archery is the earliest season starting on or around September 1, 2009 and the antelope rifle general season opens on or around October 5, 2009. The deer and elk general season starts on or around October 19, 2009 and generally runs through November 30, 2009.  Check applicable season dates by contacting the Montana Fish & Wildlife Department.
