The famous western artist, Charlie Russell, painted more than one famous canvas in our area and we take pride to this day that we still live in them.

With so much talent in and around the area, it is only fitting that we present our works of art to you for you to enjoy just as many of us have done over the years in our wide open and scenic spaces.

LOST FORK ARTS & CRAFTS

The beauty of Central Montana is an inspiration to those with an artistic bent. Its bountiful wildlife, farming and ranching, strong western heritage, incomparable mountains, streams and prairies, and its friendly small towns, all lend themselves to a call to capture its essence in works of art. On July 17, 2010, local artists and craftsmen, some with international renown, will gather at Lost Fork Studio and Gallery, 87 4th Ave. South, Stanford, Montana to showcase their works. The location is across the street from Stanford Public Schools.

The show entitled “Lost Fork Arts & Crafts” will feature the works of at least 20 artisans and will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sculptures, paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel, original jewelry, unusual and beautiful floral arrangements, are among the items to be offered. A visitor to this show will view unique, original, beautiful, one-of-a-kind items that would grace any home or office.

After the Show, please feel free to join us for dinner at the Wild West BBQ and attend the Art in Action at the
CMR Stampede Quick Draw & Art Auction!
Afternoon & evening festivities begin at 2:30pm,
 Stanford Fairgrounds.
