Little Belt Trail, Stanford/Utica
Discover the Little Belt Trail southwest of Utica and marvel at the unspoiled beauty of the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The trail winds all along the Judith River throughout the South Fork Canyon.

Kings Hill Recreation Area, Showdown
In the Little Belt Mountains southeast of Great Falls, the Kings Hill Recreation Area has more than 200 miles of marked snowmobile trails. Follow the trailheads off Highway 89 for these popular loop trails, big powder playgrounds and spectacular panoramic views. Snowmobile rentals are available in the upper park lot at Showdown Mountain.

Big Snowy Mountains, Lewistown
Try the Big Snowy Mountains near Crystal Lake for great snowmobiling. Lewistown is nearby, so running out of fuel is never a problem.


Fuel is available in Raynesford and Stanford while food is available in Geyser and Stanford.  Lodging is available in Stanford, Monarch and Neihart. Snowmobile sales and service is available in Great Falls, Lewistown and White Sulphur Springs. Snowmobile rentals are available at Showdown. 

Guided tours are available by contacting one of the groups below. A large parking area, the Kings Hill Winter Recreation parking lot, is available on US Hwy 89, as well as other overflow parking in the area.
