The Montana Department of Transportation recently completed a speed study at the intersection of Hwy 87 and Hwy 80, i.e., the exit to Stanford at Woody's Fuel Stop. Based on MDT’s findings, the speed limit here will soon be reduced from 70 mph to 60 mph. The new speed limit signs are expected to be installed mid-November, MDT’s Bailey said, ideally before the ground freezes and before the MDT crew is busy with snow removal. Comments are closed.
