As Charlie Russell once used the scenic backgrounds of Central Montana for works of art he created on his canvasses, many of the artists below continue on with his tradition with their varying displays of works of art.
Diana Roen
Diana Roen is a talented local artist who has drawn inspiration from God's creation surrounding her, nestled in the Little Belt Mountains. Art has become a large part of her life, with her favorite subjects including people, scenery, wildlife and flowers.
Diana has recently broaded her artistic strokes and has been using different colors of soil to create unique and beautiful "earth art." The soil is crushed, sifted, and mixed with a binder, then painted on watercolor paper.
Her work can be found in the Basin Gallery in Stanford, and a number of shows around Montana including the annual Stampede Quick Draw & Art Auction.
Diana enjoys working with oils, watercolors and earth art.
