"Scarecrows in the Garden" showcases a multitude of original masterpieces which are created by local students, organizations, businesses, and individuals making this quite the treat for folks visiting the area.
Scarecrows will be displayed throughout Downtown Main Street Stanford until November 1, 2018. Seasonal decorations, adorned throughout the area, add value to this great family fun event!
In addition, events like the "Scarecrow Scamper," the Scarecrow Craft Show," "Pumpkin Paint, Chuck & Carve" and the delicious "Scarecrow Chili Cook-Off Contest" will be held bringing additional entertainment to all throughout town.

Stanford, MontanaThe Stanford Beautification Street Committee will be hosting the Scarecrow Chili Lunch at the Stanford City Hall.
These Chili’s are sure to be sassy and spicy and will be served with all the fixings and caramel rolls too! $6.00 per person/ $1.00 beverages.

Scarecrow Fall Craft Show
Come and visit the Stanford City Hall on Saturday and see what the merchants are sharing this Fall Season! Many quality crafted items made from individuals throughout the area will be available for purchasing from 10:00am - 3:00pm. We will be bringing you a feast of modern, quirky and quality crafts, including prints, home wares, works of art, jewelry, accessories...and more!
Crafter/Vendor Space is Limited: this is your chance to exhibit--and sell--your talents! We are making it happen for you! So bring those wares and handcrafted items and join in the fun!
If you are a Crafter/Vendor who would like to book table space at the craft show, please contact Sue Reynolds at 406-366-6885. Reservations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
Vendor Entry Fee: $20 per table (table set-up by 9:00am)
Where/When: Stanford City Hall; October 2019 from 10:00am-3:00pm.

- Scare the Crow Outa Cancer Run
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
What: This will be a 1 mile or 3 mile Fun Run/Walk.
When: Saturday, October 2019
9:00am - 3 mile run/walk
9:00am - 1 mile run/walk
Where: Both races will start and finish at the Stockman Bank located on Downtown Stanford on Main Street. (runners and walkers, please arrive by 8:45am.) The course will be clearly marked. The Races will be mostly on highway with flat ground. No roller blades, skateboards, bikes or pets permitted in the race!
Entry Fee: Pre-Registration will be $15.00 for all ages until September 30, 2019. Race Day Registration Fee will be $20.00. Pre-registration guarantees a "Goodie Bag." (registration fees are non-refundable)
Deadline to Register: Pre-registration September 30, 2019;
Race Day Registration Available.
Prizes: Door Prizes will be given away and refreshments will be provided following the event.
Proceeds from Scare the Crow Outta Cancer Run will benefit local Breast Cancer Awareness.
