The Judith Arts Society welcomes you to our Performing Arts Season!Judith Arts Society Patrons,
Our new look is complete! Last year with our goal in mind, we created our mission: to utilize historical community halls in rural Central Montana as gathering places for all people to experience high-quality performing arts in their own communities. We chose the Pub Night venue because it is the most popular with all of you, our patrons, and we presented three Pub Night concerts: one each at the Geyser Community Hall, the Stanford City Hall and the Utica Community Center. We also gained the help of three additional people as Board members: Deidrea Annala, Sharon Killham and Joanne Rowland. They have helped to make the process less overwhelming for two people. Today we are excited to welcome you to our 2025-2026 Performing Arts Season. We will be presenting our second year of three Pub Night concerts. On Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Geyser Community Hall, Trevor Panczak will make you laugh and cry as he takes the best elements of the older era of country music and combines it with a pop-modern, melodic flair, sensibility and sound. Frequently called Canada’s “gentle giant,” Trevor is an Alberta born country music recording entertainer, singer and songwriter. This concert promises Trevor’s heartfelt and engaging stage presence. On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Stanford City Hall, the Hello Darlins will share their unique blend of Americana, folk, country, gospel and blues. Fronted by female lead vocalist Candace Lancia and keyboard player and producer Mike Little, the band is a composite of some of Canada’s most in-demand roots music and session musicians. The Hello Darlins have been nominated for several awards, most recently winning the Canadian YYC Music Award 2024 as Group of the Year. (Due to an unforeseen medical situation, the Hello Darlins will not be able to attend. Pollo Loco will be the band playing; we are sure you will enjoy their music too!) On Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Utica Community Hall, the T.Buckley Trio will bring a diverse and dynamic show to the stage. Buckley, a Canadian award-winning songwriter, believes “A song that doesn’t reach the heart – isn’t going to last,” and the Trio’s tight harmonies and intricate arrangements are the perfect vehicle to deliver Buckley’s evocative narratives. You will enjoy a night of memorable melodies, storytelling and exemplary musicianship. Beginning at 6:30, the Judith Arts Board and friend will provide hors d’oeuvres, with a no-host bar for each venue. The concerts will begin at 7. Please gather your friends and join us for some great live entertainment. In addition to these concerts, we will continue our commitment of bringing the arts to our schools and have programmed one educational outreach for each of our count schools: Geyser, Hobson and Stanford. |
